Individual psychotherapy

Before our first session, I will send you an email with information about how to log into your personal client portal, where you will find consent, credit card authorization and intake forms for you complete prior to meeting.  During our initial session, we explore what brings you to therapy and how we might work together.

Research has shown that one of the most important factors that determines successful outcomes in psychotherapy is the "therapeutic alliance" or having a "good fit."  In plain terms, this means clients are most likely to improve if they feel their therapist has created a safe space, understanding, supportive, and genuinely concerned for their wellbeing. Therapy is a commitment of time, money, and energy, so it is important that you find someone that you feel is a good fit for you.

Grief counseling

It is common to experience grief after a loss of a loved one, a relationship, a job, or a life transition. Grieving and trying to make sense of the loss can be a painful process. Feelings can range from deep sadness to bursts of anger. Everyone grieves in their own way and time frame. I am here to support you, as you find a new way forward.
